Here is a very beautiful mid century blown glass bowl (compote) with lid. It is a very lovely light emerald color and features a solid glass controlled bubble base. It is about 9” tall with lid and in overall excellent condition (less for some normal base wear). It is a quality piece and both lips (bowl & cover) are ground and polished. We have seen a few others of this type over the years, in both this lovely green color and in gray smoke. The general thought is that they may be Pairpoint or Carl Erickson products. We leave that up to the buyer to determine. However, this piece does exhibit some likeness to the amethyst Erickson bowl in the collection of Corning. Please see last photo. Even though the lid is a different form, the bulbous body form is very similar as so are the tall galleried rims, but the one at Corning does not have a bubble base.
