This excellent example is incised in three gorgeous registers with the top portion being painted with images of 5 Jaguars, 5 Suns and 5 semi circles possibly representing Rainbows. A normal split has developed due to antiquity. Peru. Late 16th century. Measures 7 1/2" in height.
