A stunning antique entry cast bronze door hardware set in P. & F. Corbin’s “Tivoli” pattern, featured in the 1905 Corbin catalog. The doorknobs feature a flower surrounded by acanthus leaves and ribbon, with a beaded border around the edge. The plates are ornamented with a beautifully cast anthemion on one end, surrounded by acanthus, with acanthus leaves and scrolls on the opposite end. The plates have a bead-and-reel border. The split-system lock has its original lock cylinder and escutcheon, and a cast bronze faceplate. This entrance door hardware is in excellent condition. The larger doorplate is 13” by 3 1/4”; the smaller plate is 7” by 2 1/4”; the larger doorknob is 2 ½” in diameter and 2 ¼” deep; the smaller doorknob is 2 ¼” in diameter and 2 ¼” deep. The faceplate on the lock is 9” by 1 ¼”. A matching, slightly smaller hardware set for a vestibule door or side door is also available, item # NDKS84-RW.
