SOLID WOOD, CARVED VANITY DRESSER WITH SWING MIRROR - For Sale
SOLID WOOD, CARVED VANITY DRESSER WITH SWING MIRROR
Vanity Dresser with Hand Carved Swing out Beveled Mirror. The dresser is beautiful and it appears to be Blonde Maple. The date is unknown, however it resembles the 1930- 1940 span, which would be our guess, but not positive. The carved scroll wood work is lovely and adds so much to the presentation of this Dresser. The piece is solid and has three drawers for storage, beautiful swing out beveled mirror and flat top. The hardware appears to be the original with brass key escutcheons. The flat top has plenty of space to display your beauty tools and accessories as well as storage to keep this piece up to date with the needs of today. The color on this Vanity is so rich and warm it would enhance any bath or bedroom area.
CONDITION: Good solid condition and sturdy... see photos below. Bottom and middle drawers have spaces between the front drawer panels, and the bottom on the drawer itself. The top drawer is flush. The 2 little ones have space that can be adjusted. There is some cracking on the bottom portion of the center drawer and the bottom drawer is cracked on the bottom part of the drawer and a little warped. There are black marks on the edges and around the sides of the beveled mirror. There are a few surface scratches on top from use and black pin holes on the top as well. One leg on the left side rear has a small crack however this does not impair the strength of this unit in any way. This is an interesting and charming piece.
