I have two beautiful American, c. 1880 - 1890 Victorian Gentleman's Parlor Chairs made of solid wood. Dimensions are: 45" t. 26.5" w. 26.5" d. The seat is 16†from the ground and 21†deep. I purchased these chairs in Berkeley, California, circa 1984.
The chairs’ wood was refurbished, their springs re-tied, and their seats and arms re-padded and reupholstered in 2009 by Kay Chesterfield of Oakland, California. Material color is Shrimp Damask. These chairs are ready for the next 125 years!
