A beautiful antique arched cast iron fireplace cover, dating from the 19th Century. The summer cover features a patera in the center, surrounded by a pierced volute design on a lattice background. An elegant volute border surrounds the center detail. This summer cover is in excellent condition with wonderful crackled paint. It measures 27-1/2” tall and 19-3/4” wide.
