Beautiful vintage hand painted on embossed relief 6 3/4" bread plate, Crown Ducal Florentine Pattern 1954 and made in England. Introduced around 1920, this pattern features florentine embossments overlain with transfer in blues, mauves and greens. This is a vintage piece in gorgeous condition with some crazing on the bottom, but no cracks or chips. The fruit and floral hand painted patterns are lush, vibrant and exquisitely detailed, accented with the decorative gold banding.
Crown Ducal was created by the AG Richardson & Co of England in 1915.
