Rare 18th Century silk suspension gilt bronze French mantel clock includes uniquely crafter finely chased Griffin and star pedestals on a marble base. 18th Century French silk suspension movement keeps excellent time and has been recently cleaned by a Master clockmaker. Inscribed on the back "A Mme Ganshof des Mersch Spm 2 - 8 - 20 bon ami: Gal Leman" Circa 1720. Dimensions: 13" h. X 8" w. X 4" d.
