Extremely well executed finest French regulator clock ,by Japy Freres France , 8 day time and strike movement, twin train with half hour and hour striking on the polished French bell. Authentic mercury pendulum automatically adjusts for temperature changes. Movement is Hallmarked "Japy Freres & Cie" with maker's crowned seal. Beautifully custom carved stately slate gray granite and green veined marble case. Marble case and movement in excellent condition. Keeps great time. Circa 1890. 18 1/2" h. X 15" w. X 5 1/2" d.
