Circa 1795 Pair of Chinese Export Famille Rose Elephant Candlesticks Jos Sticks Candlesticks. This is not the 19th Century Jos Sticks that you Occasionally see at a show or on Ebay. And if you find the 19th. Century Jos Stick--You find single ones, Never or Hardly a Pair. This pair is in Fantastic Excellent Condition of the utmost highest quality and No Restoration. They measure 5 3/4" to the top of the candle stick holder and 6 1/4" from the head to the rear. For those who have not seen much information on these rare items, The Book Chinese Export Porcelain by Herbert Schiffer in picture 125 on page 50 shows a example of a late 18th century pair. They are on the top of every Real True Rose Medallion/Rose Mandarin Collector.
