Late 19th or Early 20th century Painting of Winter Scene. Oil on Board with painting measuring 16" X 12" mounted on a gilded frame that measures 22" X 17 1/2". Good Condition and nicely done. Very Good possibility even though that this painting is not signed, I feel it might be a school of Gruppe painting. Locale appears to be of New Hope,Pennsylvania. In addition to New England North Shore and Cape Cod, Gruppe was very well known for his winter snow landscapes in Pennsylvania, especially in the New Hope area.
