This is a pattern of Mottahedeh that we have not seen before, so apparently we do not know as much about chinese export porcelain as we thought. It is a reproduction of a Chinese Export Service that was made in the chien lung dynasty C.1750-1760. This shrimp dish was part of a complete dinner service that the heirs sold us a platter and the shrimp dish. The 18th Century Dinner set is in the Dallas Museum of Art and is part of THE WENDY & EMORY REEVES COLLECTION. The reproduction was sold out of the Dallas Museum Gift Shop as are many pieces of Mottahedeh Tobacco Leaf we have bought have come out of the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art Gift Shop. Dimensions of these piece is 8" X 8 1/2".
