Continental singing bird in brass cage music box automaton. Bird has real feathers and glass bead eyes. Head turns and beak opens when clockwork music mechanism is engaged. French origin. Circa 1900. Size: 12.5 inches ht. Operational, however, bird sometimes sticks and requires a jiggle to restart. Some deterioration to the feathers.
