Purchased in Europe, this charming and colorful advertisement was most likely printed in the late 1920''s - early 1930s. It is very much like a Cappiello print of the same design and could have been produced either by Cappielo or a talented copyist - as it is unsigned, we are selling it as is: a lovely and colorful production piece for Chocolat Klaus, with offices in Le Locle (Switzerland) and Morteau (france). It offered a selection of treats (bouchees). The wonderful use of flowers in the top left and right corners indicates that this piece was probably produced at the very beginning of the Deco period when Art Nouveau influences could still be seen in advertising and artworks.
