Victorian Eastlake Pier Mirror with White Marble Shelf. Really unusual item here. The mirror does appear to be original and in good condition. It shows a lot of years and has a lot left. The marble is in very good condition. The piece does have some wear and age but is in good shape structurally and aesthetically. This is a rare one. I have not seen another like it and I love it! I could put a lot higher price and get it. On the base a great deal of the decor has been incised and painted. Really neat. The top of the columns on either side have recessed and raised carving. The diamonds and stars in the crown''s burl are cut all of the way thru, you can see the wall behind. This is a fine decorative craft not used much in Victorian. It makes it unique and it looks great. We won''t have this long! Why so cheap? Because we buy whole estates and pass the savings on to you.
