This is a fabulous antique American stained glass window from St. Louis, dating from the 1920’s, with unusual cast florets on the lead. Almost eight feet long, the window features a magnificent geometric fan design. The bottom of the window begins with an arched piece of Florentine glass, with an arched spiderweb-style design fanning out from the center, surrounded by a scalloped Florentine border. On one side of the window, small cast florets adorn the intersections of the web design. The upper corners of the window feature green slag glass, bordered at the top and outside edge with honey-colored slag glass. The glass is in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks, and the frame is in good antique condition with some peeling paint. The window measures 91 ¼” wide and 23” tall, with a frame 1 3/8” thick. The glass measures approx. 86 3/8” wide and 18 1/8” tall. A smaller version of this window is available under item # NSG31_RW.
