Antique Victorian 14 carat yellow gold and seed pearl elephant pin with a ruby eye. Circa 1890 - 1925. Measures a little over 3/4 inches in length and weighs about 4 grams. Very hard to find pave-set pearl brooch modelled as an elephant. One eye is made of a ruby. The back with hinged and C-clasp pin, engraved with 14K gold hallmark, has engraved initials B.M.W. and date 1929. Good condition. One tiny pearl is missing near the tail where it is not noticeable to the naked eye.
