Antique 14k gold bracelet set with amethysts and pearls. Made in Hungary, circa 1920-40. Length is slightly over 8 inches. Weighs 44grams. Exceptional workmanship and quality: Gold is crafted into sculptural works of art - openwork flowers and scrolls, leaves and fleur-de-lis, and then set with fabulous deep purple amethysts and pearls. 8 sections, graded in size, with the largest in the centre. Central (largest) stone is approx 1cm in length. Gemologist measured a total of 6 carats of amethysts and 4 3.75mm pearls. The back of the bracelet is as stunning as the front: Here it is possible to see the openwork ''cages'', the largest of which is about 12mm high. The clasp is very strong. There is a hallmark on the tongue of the clasp (see ''photos). Very good condition.
