Set of 10 magnificent handpainted lead soldiers in Parade Dress. Part of the estate of a vintage lead soldier collection.The tallest figure, holds the banner at 3 3/4inches. Height to the top of most dress helmets is 3inches.Each figure stands/walks on a green, angled base. Smart white tight trousers with a stripe along the side and a sword on the left. Royal blue jackets with gold buttons and epaulettes, red cuffs and collars. Some figures play musical instruments and others carry flags (Prussian/Russian?) and standards. They are handpainted in rich enamel. The detail is outstanding - from the expression in the eyes to the rosy cheeks and moustaches. All in wonderful condition.
