The most interesting thing that I found on these Fostoria #2395 1/2 scroll candlesticks is the fact that I have been unable to find any reference at all that the #281 etch, Verona, was ever produced in amber.This lovely etch, with its scrollwork and basket of trailing vines, ran from 1929 to 1931. The color of the candlesticks is just beautiful...very warm and rich...and the styling is both decorative and classic.These pieces are approximately 5" in height, 4 1/2" across the scrolled handles, and have an oval base that measures 4 3/8" in length and 3 1/2" at the widest point. Both candle holders are in excellent condition, free of any chips, nicks or cracks.
