Gadroon, with its "pie crust edging", was the blank used for this lovely Cambridge celery dish. Measuring 11 1/2" in length and 5" at the widest points, this piece features the #754 etch, Portia. Introduced in 1932 and discontinued sometime between 1952 and '53, this 20 year run attests to the popularity of this basket style etch.The #3500/652 celery dish is hallmarked with the Cambridge "C in a triangle" and is in excellent condition. Great piece!
