Massive, sturdy Dutch butcher block made of beechwood with nice patina. Well decorated with turned finials, solid brass corner supports, large dovetailed drawer with original brass ring pull, metal clamp on side to hold cleavers. Replaced ball feet. Plate embossed with the name and address of the block maker: Rufin Van Overloop.
