Provenance & Extra Info: After the devastating attacks against our Country on 9/11, Dan Miller, (then Congressman) had accompanied President George Bush on Air Force One throughout the morning of 9/11. This historical detail, along with his Dear friendship with Artist Barbara McCann, inspired him to commission her to paint one of our Wonderful Historical Monuments, “The Capitol". Not only is this limited painting unique and rare to Barbara's lovely works, but is also of great historical value.
