This striking 19th Century French mantel clock retailed by Simpson and Fricker, has the highly respected, rare precision French Morbier movement. Its movement displays 19th Century large fine French barrels and rare parallel pendulum technology. Eight day movement strikes on the hour and half hour. Keeps excellent time and has been recently cleaned by a Master clockmaker. Circa 1890s. Dimensions: 19" h. X 12" w. X 8.5" d.
