Vintage Ornate French antique marble figural mantle clock.

French design, very old with intricate, beading, designs, scroll work, columns and borders. Name is unknown however it appears to be a French patinated spelter figural clock. It has a white marble base with ceramic face clock, stand and the garniture is a boy perhaps setting out to make his fortune. He is dressed in boots, coat, hat, carrying a water bag and knapsack. The dress ware of the boy is in excellent condition. There is so much detail to this mantle clock with figural and scroll feet that finish the look. Similar pieces found in 1800’s could not date. The word "camus" or "carmus" appears on the back of one of the feet. This clock has an abundance of character and charm.

CONDITION:
Not working presently, there is a crack on the face of the clock, perhaps a piece missing on top, not sure; (see photos) along with a missing fleur de lis like scroll top on right carved scrollwork and a piece missing from the metal on the left scrollwork revealing a sparkly metal beneath. Marble plate in front is held by a single wire on one side, but needs another wire, arm or something to brace it securely and there are some chips on the marble base itself. However, it does not detract from it's charm and elegance.

MEASUREMENTS: 15" tall to top of man's hat. 13” wide outer scroll to outer scroll; 11” wide from foot to foot x 5 ½"deep.

Rates for a single piece of furniture can range from $275-$550. Rates will vary depending on the mover chosen, your location, size and weight, unless indicated as flat rate in which case dimensions and weight don’t matter.
