Rare! Four lovely heavily carved legs with floral design on the lower apron. Beautiful, bowed, carved arms leading to a very large central figural swan whose head and wings form the back framing of the couch. Couch is gold-leafed and extremely beautiful. Remarkable design piece with unique form for focal point of any sitting room. Excellent condition with almost non-existent wear to the gilt. Upholstery is in very good condition and with a light cleaning it can be used as is.
