This is an outstanding quality French console from the 19th Century. It has wonderful Louis XVI design including fluted legs and fantastic carved apron with floral swags. The water gilding is exceptional on this piece! All original with only minor chipping that is consistent with the age of the piece. The rouge red marble is original to the piece and has had some repairs which are only visible if you look very closely. Fabulous for many designs! Measuring 44L x 19 ½ D x 34H Circa, 1870.
