The most fantastic George III Chest that anyone has seen! It has two small drawers on top and three graduated drawers underneath. Beautiful satin wood inlay with a fan design in the corner of each drawer. Tear-drop ivory key hole escutcheons. Large original brass lion head with ring hardware. And a small beautiful inlaid medallion on top. Satinwood inlay runs around the whole top with a repeating fan in the corners. French polish in immaculate original condition. Unusual handwritten antique tag lies in one of the top drawers which reads “Hepplewhite 1780-1790.” Gorgeous classic piece.
