circa: 1820 width: 42 height: 51 length: 19 This beautiful antique mahogany caddie chest was hand-crafted in Georgian England around 1820. Over the years, the wood has developed a lovely patina that enriches the distinct, wispy grain and lustrous complexion of the mahogany. Elegant satinwood inlays form a wonderful complement to the mahogany, while the knobs, splayed feet and shaped skirt look fantastic. A classic two-over-three drawer design provides a generous amount of storage space, while each drawer features hand-cut dovetailed joints. This caddie chest remains in great condition, with only minor surface wear consistent with age (pictured below). This antique Georgian caddie chest represents the finest in English furniture craftsmanship and would make a fine addition to any home!
