This antique 19th century Queen Anne style solid mahogany torchiere candle stand measures 40 and one half inches high and 9 and three quarter inches across its top. The lovely long fluted column ends in a tripod snake foot base. This stand is quite strong and could support a large plant if one wished to use it as a fern stand.
