A FINE ITALIAN MAHOGANY CONSOLE, Lucca,Tuscany, Circa 1820-30 The mahogany console with the original white marble rectangular top is raised on the front corners on a large acanthus leaf scroll supported on the backs of recumbent lions, their heads raised. ;The back had rectangular flat supports. ;Below is a flat open-backed scroll-fronted shelf. ;The console is raised in the front on tapered square-form acanthus leaf feet. Height: 37 1/4 inches x Width: 57 inches x 23 1/4 inches
