The hinged & richly figured top rising to various degrees by means of twin collapsible supports set within a ratcheted framework, the whole rising on telescopics encased within the main supports which are braced by a flattened kidney-shaped stretcher sided by splayed feet terminating to original brass toe-caps and castors. English, Circa 1820.
