This Magnificent Rococo style Venetian Walnut Center Table is in Excellent Condition,c1860. Featuring Naturalistic-ally designed pedestal base carved in the shape of a tree trunk and raised on tripartite scroll legs. The apron carved with masks, each having curly hair. The Rococo style originated in France and was particularly well received in Venice, where the smaller scale of parlor furniture made possible amusing tables carved in fantastic forms such as our center table.
