A fabulous antique pine boxed newel post, circa 1890. This newel features an urn finial atop arched panels ornamented with a round pinwheel design, with fluting below. This box newel post is in very good antique condition with some scuffs and chips as shown. The newel is 54-1/4†tall and 5-1/2†wide.
