This is an original advertising sign made from a griotte marble for the famous Paul Becker Champagne from Reims (France). Paul Becker was a Prussian general whom fell in love with the Champagne area after the Franco-Prussian war of the 1870’s where he established his company. Circa date 1880. Dimensions 39”(height) x19”(wide).
