This is a splendid antique oak door with leaded glass, circa 1900. The glass features a beautiful, beveled diamond shape in the center, surrounded by an abstract glue-chip glass design in the shape of a cross. The points of the cross are connected by curved, smooth pieces of glass. The background is formed of a textured glass with a border of glue-chip glass triangles at the top and bottom. Below the glass, the door has two horizontal panels. The door is in excellent condition, and the glass is in very good condition with a tight hairline at the upper right (pictured), which is barely noticeable and does not detract from the beauty of the piece. The door measures 40” wide, 89 ½” tall, and 2” thick; the glass is 26 ½” wide and 38 ¾” tall.
