A very unusual antique American stained glass window featuring a pond scene with swan, water lilies, and cattails against a beautiful slag glass background. Salvaged from a home in east St. Louis, this window dates from the early 1900’s. This was a double-hung window, so it can be opened and closed when installed. The glass has no cracks or breaks. The upper sash measures 25-3/4” wide by 23-1/4” tall, with a frame 1-3/8” thick, with glass approx. 21-3/4” by 20”. The lower sash is 25-5/8” wide by 24” tall with a frame 1-3/4” thick, and glass 21-3/4” by 19-1/2”.
