Large, over 5 feet high, rare highly crafted beautiful large double pane stained glass panel. This supreme example of the finest stained glass artisanship included colored and painted glass as well as exquisite double panes. This piece is the work of famous artist, painter and stained glass maker John La Farge (1835 - 1910) who worked with L.C. Tiffany and produced work for Tiffany Studios and whos works are displayed in Museums throughout the Country as well as major stained glass works in the most prestigious and famous churches in America including St. Paul's in New York and Trinity Church in Boston. It includes beautifully painted glass (church, ram and lamb) as well as colored stained glass fashioned in flowers, lilies and other nature motifs. Circa 1870s. 64" h. X 32" w. X 2" d.
