Here is a very interesting early pocket flask, circa 1770’ - 1790’s, probably of German or Austrian manufacture. It is rectangular, rather than oval; a very scarce form. It is pattern molded, vertical ribs, and blown by the German half-post method. Clear glass with a faint amethyst tint. About 5” tall. Perfect condition.
