EX RARE MID 18th CENT. FRENCH LANGUEDOC RING FLASK. #B122
An extremely rare mid 18th century blown glass French ring (donut) flask from the Languedoc region of France high in the Pyrenees Mountains. Perfect condition! Stunning teal color with hole in middle, applied lip and pontil base. See "Antique Glass Bottles" by Van den Bossche plate 179 for a similar example. These flasks are rare, rare, rare! You may never see another for sale as long as you live. This is the piece that is missing from almost all important collections of early glass. Minor wear, that's all! Top museum specimen.
