Produced by Richards & Hartley circa the 1880's, I am pleased to be offering this lovely etched, covered compote.From their #525 pattern line, this is the Lion & Cable, also known as Tiny Lion, 7" covered compote. It features a cable trimmed foot, etched lid, and the signature frosted lion finial.Overall, the piece is in very, very good condition. It is free of any nicks, chips or cracks and has only some signs of usage on the base which are not too bad considering the age of the piece. It is 7" in diameter and stands 8 1/2" at the highest point with the lid seated. Beautiful old piece!   « Less

What a great old piece of EAPG this is. From McKee Glass and produced between 1901 and 1905, I am pleased to be offering this hard to find cruet or jug. The pattern name is Monarch and it is considered to be a part of McKee's PresCut line.The cruet measures approximately 7 1/2" in height and the glass at the rim of the spout measures 5/8" in thickness. It is free of any nicks, chips or cracks, but does a very small bit of residue on the interior, which I have not attempted to remove for fear of creating more. I do believe however, that it will come out.The information for this piece, along with a picture, may be found in Edwards & Carwile's "Standard Encyclopedia of Pressed Glass".   « Less

Slewed Horseshoe, AKA Radiant Daisy or U.S. Peacock, was produced by U.S. Glass circa 1908. This fabulous EAPG punch set will definitely make an impression, not only with its beauty, but also with it's size.The punch bowl is a very generous 14" in diameter and 8" in height. The matching liner is 21 1/4" in diameter and the cups are 2 1/2" in height. You will be receiving the bowl, liner and 12 punch cups. All of the pieces are in excellent condition, with the exception of just one cup that has a very small, smooth sliver at the inside of the rim opposite the handle.If you entertain a lot, this would be a great set for you.Needless to say, this will take 3 boxes to ship, but to help with shipping costs, I will split those with you...you will only pay half of the actual cost.   « Less

Pattern name Post a.k.a. Square Panes circa 1883 by Adam’s & Co. Glass is slightly turning purple. Compote sits on the pedestal askew and the lid wobbles but is assured it is original to piece. Stands 11½ inches tall with lid (not including finial). No real damage other than the color turning. There are rough areas along the molded edges which were created during the process. A wonderful pattern manufactured by Adams & Co., circa 1880. This compote features a three dimensional sphinx on the base of the compote. Three different scenes circle the bowl of the compote: 1) the parthenon with the text "Ruins of Parthenon" underneath 2) a pyramid with a camel and person 3) a column with a sphinx. Size: appx. 8 1/4" diameter; appx. 11 3/4" high Condition: Looks great but...
