Here is a set of blown glass color Steuben bottles from the 1930’s. Each is blown in a ribbed dip mold with faint vertical ribs and has an applied foot. One is in a lovely medium jade green and the other is in a lovely bright green. Both have their pressed glass stoppers. One (the jade green) has its stopper ground and not the inside of neck and the other (the bright green) has its inside of neck ground and not the stopper. Go figure! Both are perfect and faintly acid etched STEUBEN on base within their ground and polished pontil recesses. The bright green one is clear, but very difficult to photograph due to reflection and the jade one shows only a faint partial acid etching, impossible to photograph with our camera.. Both measure about 7 ½” tall with stoppers.
