Price: $325.00
In the 1960's The Henry Ford Museum of Dearborn, Michigan commissioned the Fostoria Glass Company of Moundsville, West Virginia to remake some of the Early American Glass treasures. The Rebecca-at-the-well Compote and candleholders are a portion of that effort. The original pieces were made by Bakewell, Pears & Co. in 1876. New molds were made from the original pieces and were then produced by the amazing glass craftsmen of Fostoria to turn out the most strikingly beautiful glass masterpieces. This Set consists of 1-2777/388 Rebecca Ribbon Compote 12 3/4" Tall and 2- 2777/327 Rebecca Candlesticks 9 1/4" Tall. All in the beautiful Frosted Copper Blue Finish. Each piece is marked with HFM to indicate the piece was made for the Henry Ford Museum. All pieces are in Excellent Condition. No chips cracks or scratches. The Compote has the famous Scalloped Ribbon Design. A rare opportunity to obtain this beautiful 50 year old Set.
