A beautiful antique brass door hardware set, in Yale & Towne’s “Meridian” design, circa 1910. This hardware features an elegant Neoclassical scroll design with unusual oval doorknobs; the plates are crowned with palmettes and ornamented with volutes. This door knob set is in excellent condition with a lovely patina. The backplates are 2 3/8” by 8 ¼”. The doorknobs are 2 ¾” tall, 1 5/8” wide, and 2 1/8” deep.
Trivia Fact: In the movie “The Help,” Skeeter’s house featured Y&T Meridian doorknobs on every door.
