An unusual antique Eastlake entry doorplate in cast bronze, with a double keyhole and swinging keyhole cover. Dating from the late 1800’s, this backplate features a very unusual shape with a crenellated top. It is ornamented with geometric detail and stylized flowers throughout, and the keyhole cover features an incised asymmetrical design. The plate has a wonderful patina, and measures 2-1/16” by 7-7/16”.
