An elegant antique Art Nouveau entrance doorknob set, made by Reading Hardware Co. in the “Eulalia” design featured in their 1897 catalog (the pattern was later renamed “Americus”). Unlike any other set we’ve seen, this entry doorknob set features an extra-wide double border around the edge of each knob. Made of bronze, the knobs feature a recessed center ornamented with Art Nouveau leaf detail, surrounded by a wide, raised border. This set includes two door knobs with their connecting spindle and set screws. The door hardware is in very good antique condition. The larger doorknob is 2 ½” in diameter and 2 ¼” deep; the smaller knob is 2 ¼” by 2 ¼”.
