A wonderful antique five-light iron semi-flush chandelier, dating from the 1920’s. This chandelier begins with a hammered fitter with a crimped upper edge. Below, the two-tiered iron body is composed of wide iron bands ornamented with faux strap detail and connected to each other by textured iron bands. Bracket-shaped chandelier arms extend from the lower band, each supporting a hammered brass crenellated bobeche with a spear-shaped finial at the bottom. Iron bands converge at the bottom, riveted to a round center piece. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures approximately 18-1/2†wide and 15†tall.
