Beautiful antique six light chandelier with striking details, dating from the 1920's. This iron and bronze fixture begins with a canopy that features anthemion details, coming down in a chain to a trefoil loop finial. The chandelier body is made up of six vertical bands that curve out at the top, coming down to meet at the level of a circular base holding six light cups. The body features a variation of decorative leaf details throughout. The circular base has a beautiful outer border of leaves, beading and a scalloped lower edge. Beneath this base are more ornate details of leaves, scrollwork, and flowers, creating a beautiful radial pattern when viewed from below. This light fixture is in excellent condition; it has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 21-1/2" wide, 23-1/2" tall, and the fixture is 42-1/2" long overall.
