Substantial antique eight arm brass chandelier, dating from the early 1900s and found in St. Louis. This chandelier begins in a canopy with beading, leaves, and gadrooned details, working down in chain to a trefoil loop finial. Below, the urn-shaped upper body has gadrooning and graceful curves. The lower body features S-shaped scrolls, and bead-and-reel trim. Eight elaborate scrolling chandelier arms have volute details and support gadrooned disc bobeches. The fixture finishes in a bowl-shaped base with a decorative finial. This chandelier is in very good condition with slight dents to one of the chandelier arms as pictured. The light has been professionally rewired and comes with all necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier measures approximately 29-1/2" wide, 23" tall, and 53" long overall.
