An unusual antique cast brass four-light Art Deco chandelier, dating from the 1920’s, with its original polychrome finish with green accents. The chandelier begins with a canopy ornamented with ziggurats and geometric detail, coming down in a chain to an intricate loop finial. The chandelier body is supported by five finely cast brass pieces with a geometric design. The chandelier features a green frame with eye-catching Art Deco detail supporting translucent white glass panels with a light inside. Addorsed zigzag pieces run down each edge of the chandelier. The bottom of the chandelier features an eye-catching radial design with white glass panels, and finishes in a geometric finial. This light fixture is in excellent condition and the glass is also in excellent condition with no cracks or breaks. The chandelier has been professionally rewired and comes with all the necessary attachments for modern installation. The chandelier body measures 16-1/4” wide and 25” tall, and the fixture is 40” long overall (all measurements approximate). A very similar chandelier is also available, item # NC1256-RW.
